House Remodel Customer Case Study

The weather is currently glorious and as this scorching hot summer continues, our home renovations team are busy completing house remodel after remodel. For one recent project, in particular, we were tasked with the challenge of making a complete transformation. Managing the project from start to finish, we carried out everything in this house remodel from all of the joinery and building work to the boarding and plastering, new kitchen and bathroom. We even organised all of the waste removal so it was one less thing for our customer to worry about.

A through terrace full of character in Meanwood, this was a nice project to have under our belt. Our clients were also extremely pleased with the result and are very much looking forward to settling back in. Here’s how Direct Heating Installations completed this attractive house remodel.

House Remodel General Joinery

Because we are now able to take on full home renovation projects, this means that we can also get involved with the general building, joinery and plastering work. For this particular job, we supplied and installed a new staircase to the loft bedroom after removing the old one. We also patched, boarded and skimmed where required as well as installing new stud walls, skirting board and a standard bannister and handrail to comply with building regulations.

Showstopping Kitchen

Completely revamping the whole room, we installed this gorgeous kitchen as per our supplier’s floor plan before tiling the splashback in Subway wall tiles. Waste pipes were also installed in the cellar to make way for the proposed washing machine. Modern, yet with a nod to tradition, the kitchen is a stunning choice and really looks the business in this house remodel. Also, check out that awesome cheese plant.

Main Bathroom

For the main bathroom in this house remodel we installed our customers chosen bathroom suite and 15m2 of dark wall tiles. Ply and self-level flooring was also then required before we laid another 3m2 of floor tiles. One of our recent blog posts actually hits on the bathroom tile trends for this year. Heating a House Remodel

OK, so not crucial yet we know but come the winter time, the new radiators in this house remodel will definitely be a welcome addition. Starting with the kitchen and lounge area, we supplied and installed two white vertical column radiators, each complete with thermostatic valves. For bedrooms one, two and the loft we opted for Stelrad Softline radiators also with thermostatic valves. Finally, a chrome flat towel rail was also installed in the main bathroom with a type 21 radiator below ground to keep the cellar warm.
